2. Retail Store vs. Hot Restaurant Carryout
Our website shop (eagerbeaverbbq.com/shop) fulfills sealed 16 oz bottled BBQ sauces, multi-jar gift packs, official merchandise, and scheduled seasonal pre-orders. Hot dine-in and daily restaurant carryout orders (oak-smoked brisket, ribs, pulled pork, smash burgers, and 16″ Napoletana pizzas) are ordered separately through our live Toast POS menu.
3. Pricing, Payments & Fraud Protection
- All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD) and are subject to update without prior notice.
- Online payments are processed securely through PayPal and PayPal Advanced Credit & Debit Card Processing. By submitting payment, you represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.
- To protect cardholders against automated card-testing fraud, our checkout enforces automated velocity rate limits and security verification.
4. Sales & Grocery Tax
Applicable Illinois state and local taxes are calculated automatically at checkout based on delivery destination or Elizabeth, IL in-store pickup in accordance with Illinois Department of Revenue (IDOR) regulations (including the 1.00% Village of Elizabeth Qualifying Grocery rate on sealed bottled sauces for home use and the 7.75% Standard Merchandise rate on non-grocery items). Interstate orders shipped outside Illinois are exempt (0.00%).
5. Shipping, Delivery & Broken-Jar Guarantee
Please review our Shipping, Returns & Broken-Jar Guarantee policy, which forms part of these Terms. Risk of loss passes upon carrier delivery to the shipping address entered at checkout, except that Eager Beaver BBQ covers transit glass breakage reported with a photo within 48 hours of delivery.
6. Intellectual Property
All Eager Beaver BBQ logos, mascot artwork, product names (including Sloppy Beaver, Beaver Blastin’, Hot Honey Pot, Mango Beaver Fever, and Lei That Beaver), photography, and website content are the property of Eager Beaver BBQ and may not be reproduced without written permission.
7. Limitation of Liability & Governing Law
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Eager Beaver BBQ’s total liability for any claim arising from an online retail order shall not exceed the amount paid for the product(s) in that order. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, with exclusive venue in Jo Daviess County, Illinois.
